Paco Rabanne perfumes and colognes
Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house founded in 1966. Francisco "Paco" Rabaneda Cuervo, the Spanish-born fashion designer more widely known as Paco Rabanne, fled Spain with his family during the Spanish Civil War. Growing up in Paris, he is an architect by training, but he started his fashion career designing jewelry for other houses before trying his hand at clothing design. He quickly became known for his eclectic fashions featuring unconventional materials such as metal and paper.
The house's first perfume is the now-legendary women's scent Calandre, introduced in 1969. A series of innovative fragrances in distinctive bottles for both men and women have followed. Paco Rabanne fashions and fragrances are produced in conjunction with Puig.
Designer Paco Rabanne has 55 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1969 and the newest is from 2014. Paco Rabanne fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Olivier Cresp, Emilie (Bevierre) Coppermann, Mark Buxton, Fabrice Pellegrin, Michel Hy, Robert Gonnon, Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion, Jean Guichard, Rosendo Mateu, Jean Martel, Jacques Cavallier, Pierre Wargnye, Gerard Anthony, Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux, Michel Girard, Beatrice Piquet and Bruno Jovanovic.
Forty years ago, fashion designer Paco Rabanne was one of the first to challenge preconceptions in the delicately cozy world of fragrances. Today, that same provocation, excess, fantasy, and humor are still prevalent in his scents. 1 Million and Lady Million, his latest aromatic adventures, embody the eternal glamour of gold and diamonds in blends and bottles that are equally experimental, eclectic, approachable, and striking. From couture to prêt-à-porter, accessories to perfumes, Rabanne has never stopped innovating.
"Design is not about seduction; it's about shock." —Paco Rabanne.
